How RoboSimunomy builds software — from research question to running product.
RoboSimunomy is the independent research-and-build lab of Abu Bakkar Siddique Emon, an IoT & Robotics Engineering student at the University of Frontier Technology, Bangladesh. Every project — mobile app, AR/VR experience, Unity game, or research simulation — follows the same five-stage process below, shaped by hands-on work in AI/ML, embedded systems, and autonomous robotics.
- 1. Research & DiscoveryEvery build starts as a research question — the same way our IEEE-track publications and capstone projects begin. We define the problem, review existing approaches, and pick the right stack: Python and TensorFlow/Scikit-learn for AI/ML, ROS2, Gazebo and RViz2 for robotics simulation, or Unity and C# for interactive experiences.
- 2. PrototypingA working prototype comes first, fast. On the hardware side that means Arduino (Uno/Nano), ESP32, Raspberry Pi 4B and Pixhawk; on the software side, Laravel, Flutter, or a Unity scene. We favour low-cost, resource-efficient components so prototypes stay affordable and reproducible.
- 3. AI/ML & Systems IntegrationIntelligence gets layered in next — CNN and VLM models for image validation, LLM-powered natural language control (as in our PX4 x500 ROS2 Jazzy drone project), or n8n-based AI agent automation connecting Hugging Face LLMs, Twilio, and MQTT-driven IoT devices.
- 4. Testing & SimulationBefore anything touches real hardware or a production app store, it is tested in simulation — Gazebo/RViz2 for robotics and drones, QGroundController and Mission Planner for flight telemetry, or Unity WebGL builds for games and XR experiences — and validated against real sensor data where possible.
- 5. Deployment & SupportFinished builds ship to where they belong: Android apps to the Amazon Appstore, games to Itch.io / WebGL, web apps on Laravel/MySQL stacks, and research outcomes written up for peer review. We keep iterating after launch based on real usage and, where applicable, published feedback.
